What is Up On A Hill?
Up On A Hill is a unique outdoor concert series held at the beautiful Apple Blossom Resort in New Buffalo2, Michigan. Featuring nationally recognized artists in an intimate setting, every ticket also supports three local nonprofits serving our community.

Where is the festival?
Apple Blossom Resort
New Buffalo, Michigan
The venue is just over an hour from downtown Chicago and minutes from New Buffalo and Three Oaks.

What kind of music will I hear?
The series features acclaimed Americana, indie, folk, roots, and alternative artists in a relaxed outdoor environment.

How many people attend?
Attendance is intentionally limited to create a comfortable, intimate concert experience.

Can I buy tickets for just one concert?
Yes. Individual concert tickets are available, and you may also purchase tickets to attend all three concerts.

Will food and beverages be available?
Yes. Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

Can I bring my own food or drinks?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted.

Can I bring my own chairs or blankets?
Chairs and tables will be provided.

Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is not allowed on the property.

Is alcohol available?
Yes. Beer, wine, and select beverages will be available for purchase by guests age 21 and older with valid identification.

Is parking available?
Yes. Complimentary on-site parking is available.

Is the venue accessible?
Yes. Accessible parking and accommodations are available. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us before the event so we can help make your visit enjoyable.

Is the event family friendly?
Absolutely. Guests of all ages are welcome.

Are pets allowed?
Only trained service animals are permitted.

What happens if it rains?
Concerts will be held rain or shine unless severe weather creates unsafe conditions. The music will take place under a tent that seats 300 people.

May I leave and return?
No, once you leave, you cannot re-enter

Can I take photos?
Personal photography is welcome. Professional cameras, drones, and commercial photography require prior approval.

Can I volunteer?
Yes! Volunteers help with guest services, parking, ticketing, hospitality, and event operations. Visit UponAHill.org or contact Neighbor by Neighbor for volunteer opportunities.
